Good morning. The Greater Broadway Partnership would like to alert our businesses and property owners that a Cruise Broadway event is happening this Saturday, June 4th.
At last night's Sacramento City Council meeting, the Mayor and City Council voted to rescind the ordinance banning cruising. The Partnership is working with the Lowrider clubs to try to mitigate any adverse effects that might be caused by these events (including noise, trash, congestion….) and we are hopeful that, by working with the Lowrider Clubs, these events will help to celebrate Broadway's diverse cultural history and be an overall benefit to Broadway by bringing family patronage to the restaurants and retail shops.
